More recently, and upon her lifestyle relocation to Port Douglas with her family, Emma has worked with Douglas Shire Council as Tourism and Economic Development Officer where she gained an in depth understanding of the tourism industry in the Douglas Shire.

Her career has spanned various key roles, including her most recent position at Pullman Port Douglas Sea Temple Resort and Spa, where she honed her skills in delivering exceptional guest experiences and driving business growth.
