EO Update

Message from Executive Officer

We've packed in another big fortnight at TPDD, with November campaign on the horizon, an industry workshop on international trade, ongoing collaborations with TTNQ, preparations for an industry briefing with TMR on Captain Cook Hwy works, and the planning of the Business Events Port Douglas Famil.

This week TTNQ launched a major Summer and Shoulder Season initiative that TPDD will leverage with targeted efforts to drive demand during these periods. Our promotional activities will launch this November, running parallel to TTNQ's major recovery push. By aligning our strategies, we aim to drive conversions specifically to the Port Douglas Daintree region.

In the coming weeks, we'll be reaching out to members about opportunities to participate in our November marketing activities. Your involvement will be crucial in maximising our collective impact and showcasing the best our region has to offer.

This afternoon we will host our workshop on international trade distribution featuring Dave Atherton from ATEC and Michael Sommer from TEQ. This session will explore the importance of international markets and discuss export opportunities for our region.

In exciting news for our business events sector, Business Events Port Douglas is organising a Famil from 13th to 16th November. Key professional conference organisers have been invited to visit the region, providing an excellent opportunity to showcase our world-class facilities and unique offerings to attract business events to the region.

Thank you for your ongoing support and engagement. We look forward to working closely with you over the coming weeks to make the most of these opportunities.

Here's to a great week ahead,

Emma
