Tourism Port Douglas Daintree Introduces new team with bold aspirations
Swimming with crocs, hanging with birds, and witnessing a koala romance fit for a David Attenborough documentary, our member event last week had it all!
A special thank you to the wonderful team at The CaPTA Group Wildlife Habitat and to all our loyal members and funding partners who joined us for a memorable evening.
Introducing our new team, new Tourism Port Douglas Daintree Executive Officer, Emma Tunnock spoke about the importance of tourism to our economy and community.
The new team have hit the ground running, advocating to government and peak bodies in Brisbane on key issues affecting our industry, developing a value of tourism body of work, meeting with the TEQ executive teams to discuss regional priorities, aligning with TTNQ on key summer campaign activity, planning a disaster preparedness workshop, planning a workshop on accessing international trade opportunities, moving offices, planning marketing campaign activity, and of course attending Australia Next alongside Business Events Port Douglas to secure business and incentive events to the region.
As we head into the future with a new team, we’re all about thinking big and delivering exceptional marketing programs and facilitating important outcomes for industry.
